Senergy Showcases Broad Product Portfolio at 2024 Intersolar Europe

Munich, Germany, June 21, 2024 – Senergy, a leading solar inverter and energy storage ODM service provider from Asia, presented its comprehensive product portfolio at Intersolar Europe 2024. The lineup included the novel high-voltage RESS batteries and ESS inverters. Intersolar Europe, one of the world’s most influential solar industry exhibitions, was held from June 19 to 21 in Munich, Germany, highlighting the immense vitality of the solar market, not only in Germany but worldwide. As a regular participant in this renowned international event, Senergy not only showcased its complete product lineup and innovative technologies, but also demonstrated its robust manufacturing capabilities and smart ODM collaboration models to the audience.

As a key component of the country’s drive for greater energy independence, the German government announced in 2022 its aim to achieve 100 percent renewables in the power system by 2035. “Germany is leading the global transition towards sustainable energy sources with its bold initiatives, which have greatly bolstered the solar industry,” said Lisa Ren, General Manager of Senergy. “With our long-term presence in the European market, we’ve acquired valuable insights into local preferences and are ramping up our business efforts through close collaboration with our strategic partners to effectively address evolving market demands.”

Robust Innovation and Manufacturing for Comprehensive ODM Solutions

During Intersolar Europe, Senergy showcased its comprehensive lineup, featuring grid-tied inverters ranging from 2kW to 110kW, ESS inverters from 3kW to 30kW, as well as the high-voltage RESS battery products. All these offerings are manufactured to meet European standards, ensuring rigorous testing for safety, quality, and sustainability.

With about 20 years of expertise in inverter R&D and manufacturing, Senergy has secured more than 110 patents related to inverter technology. The company recently accelerated investments in both R&D and manufacturing by tripling the size of its R&D center in 2023 and establishing a new production site with 16 top-tier automated production lines in Pingshan, Shenzhen, in 2022. These strategic expansions have significantly boosted its manufacturing capacity to an impressive 10GW, enabling Senergy to deliver flexible and diverse ODM cooperation patterns to meet varied customer needs. Additionally, Senergy operates an R&D center and manufacturing plant in Taipei, where its own brand, PrimeVOLT, has secured the top spot in local market shipments for three consecutive years.

Innovative Products for Superior Performance

Far from being a sun-drenched country, Germany has one of the highest solar power outputs in the world. The government’s aim to largely base electricity production on renewables is expected to give the technology a major push.

Senergy’s 2-in-1 microinverter, the SE 1kW, is emerging as a reliable choice for households who are seeking solutions to maximize power generation for their solar systems. This lightweight inverter, capable of connecting up to 2 modules, offers high efficiency and compatibility with high-power modules in various environments, without the risk of high voltage. Its cutting-edge smart module-level monitoring functionality ensures optimal power yields and provides users with greater flexibility for system expansion. The compact design and fanless operation make it a suitable addition to home setups, while the IP67 rating adds an extra layer of safety.

To achieve the ambitious goal of transitioning to renewables by 2035, the federal government of Germany has proposed mandatory rooftop solar installations for new commercial buildings. Senergy’s grid-tied inverter SE 100/110KTL-M3, which has received the VDE 4110 Type Certificate for connection to the medium voltage network, stands out as a robust and flexible solution for such large-scale projects. Featuring 9 MPPT and a fuse-free design technology, this inverter series ensures optimal power tracking and enhanced safety. It includes string level current detection, which provides precise monitoring and boosts overall performance. With optional features such as AFCI, night SVG, I/V detection, and integrated PID, these inverters offer extensive customization to meet diverse energy needs. It also supports remote configuration and upgrades, allowing for seamless adjustment and maintenance.

In Germany and even in Europe, the fluctuating solar output – high during midday and summer, but significantly lower or nonexistent during winter and at night – underscores the need for reliable storage technology to support the renewable energy expansion. Many citizens are eager to take part in solar power expansion, and more and more homeowners install panels on their roofs, often in combination with solar-powered batteries. Senergy introduced the high-voltage RESS solution, expertly designed to meet these evolving energy storage requirements. This solution features a three-phase unbalanced output, ensuring efficient, reliable, and intelligent power distribution. With a wide battery voltage range from 120V to 600V and a high current charging and discharging capacity of up to 50A, it accommodates various energy storage applications. Notably, it adopts advanced lithium iron phosphate (LPF) cells and BMS battery management system, paired with the 5.5ºC battery module, to guarantee optimal system performance and battery durability. The plug-and-play design eliminates the need for cables between battery modules, simplifying installation and maintenance.

Intersolar Europe focuses on the latest trends, developments and business models of solar industry. For more than 30 years, this event has been providing a networking opportunity for the key players – from manufacturers, suppliers and distributors to installers, service providers, project developers, planners and start-ups – all under the motto “Connecting Solar Business”. Leveraging this influential platform, Senergy has expanded its collaboration base and joined force with more partners from the renewable world to succeed in the energy transition to net zero.
